PoC for Searchor <= v2.4.1 RCE Vulnerability
- Rigorously tested remote code execution vulnerability in Searchor software using BurpSuite
- Developed URL encoded payload to send through HTTP request and execute code on back end server
- Searchor was built with Python, vulnerability existed due to a formatted string the user controlled
- Tested with basic print statements, shifted to automated reverse shell when exploit was working
